越南番荔枝 - Custard Apple from Vietnam

那天在小贩中心吃午餐的时候,无意中发现这颗犹如手掌般大的番荔枝, 查明之下,原来它是从越南进口的。这看起来好大颗,虽然皮还是有点硬,不过只要放上一两天待皮软了,就可享用了。由于不曾吃过,于是我买了一粒试一试。
待皮软了,用刀子切开起来,和我原来印象中的番荔枝的有点出入。这越南番荔枝的果肉是整大粒地,不像本地的由好多小颗粒组合成的, 而且前者的果肉吃起来也比较滑。
我将这果肉切成小块,由于事先已放入冰箱冷藏,所以吃起来非常的过瘾。^^

    Actually this fruit is called ' Pond Apple' in english.
    Just google search for it.
    Where did you get the name 'Vietnamese Custard Apple' ?

  7. " Labels :" has incorrect english when it says "Apple Custard".
    It should be Custard Apple.
    Did you buy this in Penang?

  8. Actually "Vietnamese Custard Apple " is wrong and it should be Custard Apple from Vietnam or Pond Apple from Vietnam.
